Account Deletion Request

At Stellar, we value your privacy and give you full control over your data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please follow the steps below.

How to Request Deletion

To permanently delete your account, please send an email from the email address associated with your account:

  • To: [email protected]
  • Subject: Account Deletion Request - [Your Name/Email]
  • Message: Please confirm that you would like to permanently delete your account and all associated data for Stellar.

Our team will process your request and confirm once the deletion is complete.

What information will be deleted?

Upon your request, the following data will be permanently removed from our active systems:

  • Profile Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture provided via Google Sign-In.
  • User Content: All your saved notes, diary entries, and assistant interaction history.
  • Usage Data: Personal usage records used for account personalization.

What information is kept?

To comply with legal obligations or for essential business purposes, we may retain certain information in a non-identifiable format:

  • Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated data about app usage (via PostHog) that cannot be traced back to an individual user.
  • Financial Records: Transaction history for in-app purchases (via RevenueCat) is retained as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Data Retention Period

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days. Once the deletion is processed, your data cannot be recovered. If you have an active subscription, we recommend canceling it through the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) before requesting account deletion to avoid future charges.
